I had such an amazing experience with Washington Women Plastic Surgery, and specifically Dr. Lauren Patrick.
I had a breast reduction consultation with Dr. Patrick at a different practice a few years ago. I decided to delay the surgery, but was ready to commit in September 2025. I called Washington Women Plastic Surgery and Amanda, the patient coordinator, remembered me. She was able to work with my timeline, which included trips I had scheduled, and particular work events, to book my consultation, pre-op, and surgery all at PERFECT times for me and within 6 weeks.
The pre-op with Dr. Patrick was wonderful. Her complete surgical mastery and expertise put all my anxieties at ease. She was able to answer every question I had from surgery day, to sizing, to recovery. I really felt like she cared about my overall wellbeing as a patient, not just the aesthetic surgical results. Her bedside manner is extremely kind and warm, which was refreshing when I was coming in anxious.
WWPS operates out of Bruno Brown's Chevy Chase office occasionally and that was the OR I used. The experience was extremely luxurious... they even had a heater for the pre and post op hospital bed. Surgery day was a breeze and my mom and best friend were able to stay in the lobby and see me immediately pre and post op.
The entire WWPS team contributed to my easy recovery. They use an app to communicate, and their quick response times were extremely impressive. On my first day post op, they answered questions, sent a new prescription, provided advice, and also provided reassurance! Could not have asked for better communication. No question was too basic, no concern too small. I also had 3 post op appointments in office within the first 5 weeks and was cleared to return to exercise after that.
I took a 13 hour flight and hiked many miles a mere 6 weeks after surgery! Dr. Patrick's confidence in my recovery, and her surgical skills that led to such a great surgical result, allowed me to go into that trip with no fear or hesitation around my healing.
